6 January , 2023 Christmas Weekday (Where Epiphany is on Sunday)

 Gospel: Lk 3: 23-38

Reflection:

The genealogy is not merely a  list of difficult Jewish names but it shows us that our faith is a relationship with God rooted in history. It is encouraging to know that there are great multitudes of believers who have gone before us. The diverse personalities and lives in the genealogy proved to us that God includes everyone without any exception; for his choice is never merited but gifted and God knows each one by our very name and our specific role is indispensable.

Action Plan:

Spend some time in prayer thanking God for your roots/your ancestors who may have contributed to what you are as a person today.
